Jon joined Destination Canada in 2013 and he’s been guiding the organization’s marketing transformation ever since—spearheading a shift to a more modern model that mixes compelling content, rich traveler data and a robust digital ecosystem. His team—spanning 11 international markets around the world—work with a diverse set of partners to build Canada’s tourism brand and inspire more travelers to visit and explore.
Jon currently oversees multiple business units, including Global Marketing & Communications, International Markets, Consumer & Market Intelligence, Business Events Canada (Meetings & Conventions), and Partnerships.
Before joining Destination Canada, he held senior marketing roles at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Travel Alberta and Procter & Gamble. Jon is proud to be a graduate of Bethany College, West Virginia and holds an MBA from Miami University of Ohio.
